Exams are once again approaching... and once again we gotta get studying...
but just a recap since the last time i blogged...
went back to Toronto last saturday... left at 6am... got to spend some 8 hours in toronto and got back to london at 2am... was very tired, though i wouldnt have done it any other way. Got to spend time with family in toronto, last chance before exams begin, and made it back to london for sunday. What more could i ask for?.. XD

Next week theres Unity ball on thursday night and LCAC Christmas dinner on saturday night... so its gonna be quite a busy week... gonna need to becareful with my time for studying, since i really need to do well for finals. And now not just for academic's sake, i guess i just have a new motivation and reason to try even harder... ^^

Recently been so blessed by men's cell and friends. Just being able to completely open as brothers (and sisters) in Christ... Not to mention all the reminders i've gotten. I still have a long way to go, but I know i'm headed in the right direction... Thank you Lord!

I cant wait for christmas... done exams, no school, good food, seeing family and friends again... Though sorta mixed feelings about it, since london's more a home to me now than Toronto... i already know the 2.5 weeks will seem like so long...

Any ideas of things to do during christmas break lemme know!! ^^

Anyway, dont want to talk about biochem... it was brutal... i'm just glad its all over.
Anyway sunday was my birthday...
and my rents and my brother came in for dinner and to see the house...
Had dinner at the Keg... mmmm sooo good...
anyway... went out for drinks at 168 w/ steph and people.. (intentionally not remember someone's name because they forgot mine.. >.< LoL)
anyway... it was good.. and monday night went to sushi, with steph, kchow and the house...

Just found out today i dont have to do mu second ecology essay!! sooo good.. haha
which gives me more time to catch up.. which i desperately need...
knowing that in the blink of an eye finals will be around the corner, so i better get started with studying for those soon too... btw i hate biochem and physio right now because of the profs... :| omgsh... >.<

about all the things i was praying about before...
I guess i could still use prayer for being more attentive to what God is saying to me..
but i think i'm not as as anxious to know, more like i know God will guide me...
so why stress, it doesn't matter if i know now or later because the final destination will be the same... yay for sunday school and Psalm 23.. XP

so i'm 20 now... everyone wont stop reminding me the fact that i'm old...
though i guess compared to the CCAC crew i am kinda old.. though i dont understand everyone here at western.. since we're like or 2 apart at most... but oh well.. its not like i mind.. XD

Was just reflecting on my life-ish (well what i can remember anyway) and its just amazing how far God has brought... how much i've changed and how much God has used those around me to bless me... All praise be to God!! =D

well eco and evo are now over with....
saturday was crazy... i was sooo tired by the end of it i'm just glad its over...
took sunday and monday off from studying biochem to recover and because jeff and shirley's birthday was on monday.
but anyway.. biochem on saturday... worth 50% of final, and SOO MUCH MATERIAL!!!
which makes me wonder why i'm not studying right now...

not feeling "icky" as much anymore.. just sometimes... whenever i'm reminded of it...
Just praying about it.. and waiting for an answer... according to his time...

anyway.. last night was pretty much an all nighter w/ jeff, shirley and simon...
and though i had volunteer this afternoon i'm surprisingly not that tired...
though tonight looks like its gonna be another late night if not an all nighter... but i have 830am ecology tomorrow... >.< speaking of which.. i havent been to physio in while... (so bad i know)... just haven't forced myself to get up after the late nights of studying... i'll start next week...

its weird that i'm not really stressing over school... and i'm still studying and doing my work and stuff... but for some reason this this year seems so much harder... and i'm getting marks i've never see before... i guess just sorta led myself to think, "is there where i should be? studying what i'm studying? "Is this what God had planned for me?"
and... i can't really answer that... at least not with 100% certainty...
But i guess God will answer my question in his time...

So just finished my second exam...
orgo was horrible...
physio was alright i guess?
Ecology saturday morning and Evolution Saturday night coming up... starting to stress since i have so little time for them... studied till around 7am last night.. and for some reason still not really tired now... though i'm pretty sure if i continue this i'd be pushing my body too far... oh wells.. just another 1.5weeks-ish to go then i'm done... ^^

duno what to do about certain things.. though i guess they're already getting better.. yet i still feel like an complete utter @$$..
anyway... shouldnt be thinking about this.. needa focus on academics..

So i was at ACF retreat from friday to sunday.

going in on friday i was still sick... still had a gever the night before.. not to mention coughing.. and everytime @ night i'd lose my voice. But friday at retreat it was like i almost completely recovered. kraziness!! XD Praise God!

Guess a thing or 2 that I really got from it was "love is rest". which i never really thought about that way before.. more like the opposite actually, like theres some obligation to take some kind of action because of this love. But i guess we should be able to find rest in love first, then out of love want to take action, rather than out of obligation. Which sorta links into the 2nd thing, which was something along the lines of "God doesn't want you to serve, he wants your heart". Which is sorta what i'd already been thinking about and what not for the last year or so. So it was just a good confirmation kinda thing. Guess i got some things to work out and try and refocus on.

Anyway, worship was awesome, just having so many people worshiping together, praying together. Even though it was thundering outside it was a completely different atmosphere inside. God was working on so many people that night, like my housemates jeff, simon and andrew. Brought me to tears, so many people have been praying for just this. It was amazing to see everything praying for each other, laying of hands. Glory be to God

Cant wait for men's cell and small groups to really start after thanksgiving. Though that also means that midterms are just around the corner.. >.< so not ready for it. I got quite a bit of studying to catch up on i think.. XD

Had an interesting convo last night. Which served as a well needed slap in the face (not literally) to wake me up. i just keeping thinking " What the hell am i doing?"... its like i'm almost purposely walking down a path thats potentially "bad" and yet i wasnt stopping myself. gah so angry with myself. though i'm still not sure what i'm going to do about it, i know that something needs to be done one way or another. But anyway... Dont know what I'd do without friends who would just "smack some sense into me" when i need it.
thank God for them...

went to starfield concert last wednesday... was sooo good...
kinda private concert like since there was only around 500 people... i kinda expected more...
but it was good none the less... steph ended up skipping lab to go to concert in the end... XD
anyway.. there was this T-shirt there that said like "satan is a nerd"... i ended up getting a starfield shirt (thats signed) and one that said " Jesus love you (and I'm trying)"...
Sunday was Rebecca's baptism.... congrats again!!

anyway.. seems to be a flu going around lately...
first steph, then karen n abe.. and now ALOT of people... and now i got it too.. >.<
need to get better before friday since friday-sunday is ACF retreat...
so basically can count on not getting much sleep and what not.. so if i'm sick.. i'm gonna die...
awww.. last 2-3 days didn't get much work done cuz had to wake up early n go downtown to do TB test for volunteer and then there was volunteer training... and getting sick.. so been feeling like crap and super tired all the time.. so always end up passing up randomly on the sofa or something and waking up like an hour or 2 later.. >.<
Drinking water like crazy!! (dilute the viruses, and wash them away!! LoL)
doesn't seem to be doing much good though... =S

anyway.. nothing else to say...

well its been since another week since my last post...
have to say the week seemed to pass really quickly...
mayb it because not that much work for school...
but anyway.. all's good
Glad to be in london again... so thankful for everyone at acf... lcac... my housemates...
we've been having some house prayer times n what not. And its just so great that we can just be together to pray and just to keep each other accountable, to be just completely honest on front of each other... just so many reminders of so many things..

anyway.. starfield concert in london tomorrow!!! =D

So last thursday was the first day of classes...
and my only class was physio 130 at 830am... but the class only lasted 15min.. --" and made me get up so early... On friday my classes are 830-330 all at NCB!! ahhhh!! gonna go crazy...
though misery loves company so at least steph n andrew have all those classes too (well that is if andrew goes to class... ever)
Anyway.. friday was first night for ACF... was rather excited for it since for the whole summer i didn't really have a consistent fellowship to go to. Anyway the turnout was great! there were probably close to 40 froshies. After that we call crash summit, which is almost like going home for me, and just talked played cards n stuff like that.... fun stuff.
Friday night was kinda interesting though, had a bit of prayer/talking time w/ abe n jeff.. though the "a bit" sorta lasted till 6am. though it was really good.. but i was sooo tired the next day.. hahah.. luckily it was saturday.
ended up going to campus w/ steph, and after going bankrupt on books, decided to explore campus... which was interesting.. lol... all the animals/insects (dead ones) in B&G... omgsh there were these butterflies? or moths forgot which that look EXACTLY like leaves!! it was crazy... anyway.. found the Tower room.. muhahhaa.. which was completely not what i expected... though i expected something more along the lines of harry potter like or like LOTR.. so..=P
went to play badminton after.. and... i suck!!!... LoL

on sunday simon came back from toronto... brought a tv that has like 4 channels.. so thats 3 more than we had before.. and it has sound.. so we're making an improvment... and brought mahjong.. lol... no need to say what happened after that...
steph was over yesterday to learn mahjong.. which was apparently also a "eye opener" into thw world of a "guy's" house... and we kinda set off the smoke alarm while cook... lol.. *Shhh* nothing happened...

anyway Starfield's performing in London on sept 20 and in toronto on sept 22nd...
still sorta debating which one to go to ( that or both)... mostly debating whether to go back to toronto i guess... anyway.. if anyone is going lemme know!

so i moved into London, Summit #4 on sunday along with jeff, abe, and simon. Andrew showed up on monday. Last couple days have been some cleaning or rooms + kitchen...
we have ALOT of kitchen stuff.. my goodness... so much that we decided to stick a couple boxes into the storage area. Alotta house LAN computer games... so bad i know.. but it will die down for sure once school kicks in...
But we have no tv.. and not much to do...
tomorrow will be cooking day... then thursday school starts... booo!!!
though i can't say i mind now.. since its better than doing nothing all day.
we need a mahjong set in the house!!! LoL

anyway.. all you frosh have fun this week.. XD...
i shall visit TO or loo some time soon hopefully...

So my last week in toronto before going back to london is drawing to a close. Only tomorrow left. In general was a productive week, spent some time with grandparents n relatives, which i didn't do enough of the whole summer. With The CCAC crew, though Kathee n May couldnt make it. Roarrr i forgot my camera.. >.< and of course with Maggie... Not sure when's i'll be coming back yet... though i think for sure once or twice before christmas... at least i hope.
Till then, time to get used to university life again.

havent blogged for a while...
can't believe i've got less than a week left in Toronto...
Last week was supposedly my week of "vacation"...
consisted of alotta, time with family n friends.. which is good...
and the house is alot more tidy n unpacked now... yay!!
Saturday was an interesting day...
First, Jerry came back to Canada.. like 6 years later!!! Going to Mac for Engineering... it was quite a surprise when he first called, but Praise God for that! So glad to see that he's grown so much n strong in the Lord. another thing was learned that John suddenly... (well at least suddenly for me) has decided to stay in HK to study law... which kinda totally came outta nowhere... But all the best to him. And saturday night got into an accident... but thank God no one was hurt... And things pretty much sorted out well for the most part... btw have i mentioned i hate rain? >.<

Made a trip to london last night to move in some furniture n stuff like that... i think we've pretty much got things set up? at least i hope.. though theres still ALOT of unpakcing and cleaning etc etc to be done.. hopefully we have time next week... also picked up the kitchen stuff from steph.. (thanks again) and WE HAVE A VACUUM CLEANER!!! lol...

ok anyway, think i'll be heading back into london on sunday the 3rd. which leaves me about 5 days left in Toronto. I dun wanna leave TO though. gonna miss people here.... "sheng kay gee yin la" LoL

Well, as of friday camp's been over and guess i'm officially on "vacation"... that is until school starts.
Thursday I was at Pleasantview C.C, which was quite uneventful... Friday was sent to St. Issac, funny how i get to spend my last day there with Maggie... kinda wish i got to see my kids one last time though since i didn't know i wouldnt be there for the last 2 days... but oh well. St Issac was good, as usual. Not much i care to comment on here. Though its kinda weird not getting up early now... i keep waking up at like 6:30, 7:00, 7:30, 8:00 every morning then going back to sleep. But at this week i'll get to sleep more. This week which consists alot of doing/buying stuff for the house, for london, and spending time with friends and such, some of which i havent seen in a long time.

Had a BBQ @ eddie's place last night, so saw tommy n kt n people which i havent seen for at least 6 months if not like a year or 2. And probably wont see them again for another year... at least.. lol

Well sorta decided i'll move into london on the 28th and mayb stay till the 30th before coming back to Toronto until labor day. Kinda clueless what the house still needs... and communication between housemates in regards to that has been rather lacking... not sure how everyone else expects things will just suddenly come together.. but i guess we'll see how it turns out.

now that summer's running down kinda wishing i had more time.. seems like so much it was spent working and moving and stuff. That and a part of me doesn't wanna go back to London. Even though for much of first year it was a nice "getaway" from toronto. Now I dont really want to leave. Though obviously thats not an option at this point, so i've got about 2 weeks to make up my mind whats going to happen about "that". That or just "sheng kay gee yin la"... just hope it wont become something i will end up regretting --"

this week i'm back at my own camp... =D yay!
we have a record breaking number of 19 kids this week too... (lol.. kinda sad when other camps have like 40+ all the time)
they're still one of the best behaving camps i'm seen so i'm not complaining...
on tuesday district paged and wanted me to work as special need integration staff with a kid with downs syndrome... but supposedly that requires special training and stuff which i didn't do because i didn't sign up for working with special needs. So i ended up turning it down. Thinking back i'm still wondering if i should have done it. Becuase at the time i thought it wouldn't be fair to the kid if i was looking after them rather than someone with training... But i find out after that they didn't have anymore integration staff and becuase i said "no" the kid didnt get to go to camp. District was just thinking thatd i'd be able to do it. >.> feelin that i let the kid down now... Though District could have at least told me!

anyway... today was dodgeball tourny at oriole, so like 20-3o camps where there i think... Holy redeemer did pretty well 6th place, though Blessed Kateri eliminated us and ended up 3rd. St. Issac eliminated them and went on to be the champs... Must be all that dodgeball you play with them Maggie.. lol...

So 2 more days of camp.. then thats it.. Well my supervisor was asking me if i wanted to work with the city for next 2 weeks after.. but figured i'd want a break and get time to move into london.
Besides they dont even pay me on time... >.<>.< hopefully can borrow a van and do a trip next week with the sofas n tables n stuff...
Jeff.. gimme a call or something some time will ya, we needa talk about food.. XD

Ok so my first official blog on my new blog...

so this past week i was sent to Blessed Kateri... omgsh... that camp is sooo bad in like every way...(most of which are staff related)
ok.. i'll start listing... so...
- the staff started selling camp freezies to the kids and pocketing the money...
- the staff just goes off and leaves for a walk in the middle on the afternoon
- staff decide to take a nap/break for an hour or 2
and that camp still smells weird... and its sooo hot inside... >.<>.< style="font-style: italic;">is sufficent for you (2 cor 12:9)
was reading on that verse and was just stuck by that fact that such a short verse.. of 6 words... can mean so much... just last couple weeks i guess been caught up so much with all the things i need to do and everything.. its been constantly like GOGOGO... and no time to stop and and slow down... so much stress about everything... sometimes should just learn to leave it to God a bit more.

He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater,
He sendeth more strength when the labors increase;
To added affliction He addeth His mercies,
To multiplied trials His multiplied peace.
